Andvari and Alberich are like two versions of the same person, with one from Yggdrasil and the other from Tir na Nog, and they are both greedy and ambitious. While opposites attract, those who are similar come to blows, and when these two meet, the carnage is no surprise to anyone. Legs will be pulled, beards will be tugged, and mothers will be insulted, all in a struggle for gold. Of the two, Alberich is a king, and while he may look like the older one, this is the price he has paid under the belief system of Tir na Nog.
