“Whoa, Sitri. You’re like a hundred times cooler compared to me back then.”
“You were a pretty cool cat yourself, Kengo. You’ll always be awesome to me!”

Kengo and Sitri came from the same middle school but were two grades apart. The younger Sitri considered the older Kengo, who had been separated from his childhood friend and spent all his time fighting, as a so-called cool cat. There were times when Kengo, who somewhat hungered for new relationships in a new land, felt bad for the junior who’d become attached to him, and even now, the influence that he had on Sitri sometimes gives him pause. However, Kengo’s Role would not allow him to stay in the same place, and he put physical distance between himself and Sitri before either of them even realized it. Now that time has passed and they’re together tussling once again, they laugh side by side and reminisce about the old days.

「……すげえな、お前　オレの時よか100倍カッコいいぜ、シトリー」
「……ケンゴ先輩も、『硬派』だったっすよ。今も、これからも、おいらのカッコイイ先輩です！」
ケンゴとシトリーは２学年違いの同じ中等部出身。
幼馴染たちから離れ、喧嘩にばかり明け暮れていた頃の上級生のケンゴに、下級生のシトリーは硬派を見た。
新天地にて新しい人間関係に飢えていたケンゴは、懐いてくる後輩を悪しからず思っていた時期があったようだ。
今なお、当時のケンゴからシトリーが受けた影響は、彼の中で大きなウェイトを占めている。
しかしケンゴはその「役割」から、同じ場所には留まることなく、いつしか２人の物理的な距離は離れていた。
年月を経て再会し、ぶつかり合った今、彼らはあの頃に戻ったように２人並んで笑い、あの頃を思い返すのだ。

「……你真厲害啊，比我那時還要帥上100倍喔，西迪。」
「……健吾學長以前也很『硬派』喔。不管現在還是將來，你都是我帥氣的學長！」

健吾和西迪曾經念同一所國中，彼此差了兩屆。當時高年級的健吾和兒時玩伴分離，成天在打架中度過，而在低年級生西迪看來，這好像非常硬派。健吾當年在新環境非常渴求人際關係，有段時期覺得有個熟識的學弟也不錯。在西迪心中，當時健吾所帶來的影響，直到今天仍佔有相當大的份量。不過健吾因為自身「職責」之故，不會長久停留在一個地方，曾幾何時他們便又分隔兩地。時隔多年重逢並彼此衝撞、摩擦後，他們又像當年一起並肩大笑，想起當時的往事。

“好厉害……你比我那时候帅了100倍诶，西迪。”
“……健吾学长也很“硬派”喔。无论是现在还是未来，都是我帅气的学长！”

健吾和西迪曾就读同一初中，相差两年级。当时和发小们断绝来往，整天打架的高年级生健吾给低年级生的西迪留下了硬派的印象。健吾在新天地时渴望开展新的人际关系，所以对于仰慕自己的学弟印象似乎还不坏。对西迪来说，当时健吾造成的影响至今仍占了很大的分量。但健吾因为“天职”的关系，没有停留在同一个地方，不知不觉间两人就变得天各一方了。多年后得以重逢与彼此冲击的现在，两人就像以前那样并肩大笑，一起回首过往。
