“Whoa! Thanks, Tetsuox! I’d sure love a fruity drink after our bath!”

Just beside Umamichi Academy in Taito Ward sits a humble public bathhouse called Monkey Springs. Surprisingly, this is a very popular hangout spot for the local students—particularly those who live in the dorms, which don’t have baths or showers installed. Today, the curtains part to reveal Tetsuox and Hanuman, fresh from an intense battle with each other. Tetsuox, impressed with Hanuman’s tenacity, offers to treat him to a drink after their bath, and Hanuman graciously accepts. This is significant because the fight actually broke out over a disagreement on what each combatant considers to be the undisputed best choice for post-bath refreshment. So intense was their struggle that their wounds from it react with the soap they use to wash themselves, causing them both to yell out in pain and disrupt the other guests. Not that said guests aren’t used to it at this point, however; this is just how things go in and around Umamichi Academy!

「あー、面白ぇ喧嘩だったなぁ、ハヌマンっ。気分がいいや、ここは奢ってやるぜぇっ」
「なんとマジでござるか、テツギュウ殿！　拙者、湯上りにフルーツ牛乳も飲みたいでござるっ」
台東区・得真道学園のすぐ傍にある、とある銭湯「猿の湯」。
そこは同学園の生徒たちが足しげく通う、社交の場。
特に、下宿に風呂がついていない若人たちにとってはそうだ。
今日も、ひと喧嘩を終わらせたハヌマンとテツギュウが、暖簾をくぐってやって来た。
擦り傷にセッケンが染みては叫び、湯に飛び込んでは怒られて。
のぼせて伸びて、引きずり出されて、コーヒー牛乳かフルーツ牛乳かでいつも議論をかわすのだ。

「啊～這打鬧可真是有趣啊，哈奴曼。我心情挺好，讓我請你一頓吧！」
「此話當真，鐵牛大人！在下想喝泡湯後的一瓶水果調味乳是也。」

台東區得真道學園旁邊的某座錢湯「猿之湯」。可謂該學園的學生們經常前往的社交之地。尤其對於租借的地方沒有浴室的年輕人更為重要。而剛結束一場打鬧的哈奴曼與鐵牛，今天也掀開浴簾來到這裡。沐浴劑沾到擦傷處，痛得讓人喊出聲、跳進熱水池內引來眾怒。總有人泡昏了頭被拉出浴缸，而要喝咖啡調味乳還是水果調味乳是最熱門的話題。

“啊——刚才那仗打得可真带劲！哈努曼，今天老子高兴，就请你一杯吧！”
“真的吧铁牛兄？！那等泡完澡了，在下想来瓶水果牛奶！”

在台东区里紧挨着得真道学园的地方，有一座名叫“猿之汤”的澡堂：对于得真道学园的学生，特别是那些住在没有浴室的出租屋里的学生来说，这座澡堂更像是一处值得频繁访问的“社交中心”。而今天，在一场痛快的斗殴之后，哈努曼与铁牛也像往常一样打开“猿之汤”的门帘走进了来——刚刚浑身都是擦伤的两人还被沐浴剂扎得鬼哭狼嚎，一转眼却又扑通一声跳进浴池，引来周围一片怨声载道；紧接着又将自己泡昏了头，最后只得让旁人帮忙把自己拉扯出澡塘。而最后，则依然是两人每回出浴后的保留节目：争论牛奶到底该选咖啡味，还是水果味。
