A world-wandering chef, Nisroch was charged with managing the angels’ kitchen and their much-desired ingredient, the forbidden fruit. After entering Eden’s civil war, however, he joined the former supreme angel and his host in the depths of Gehenna upon their defeat. Still seeking ever-greater culinary delights, he worked as head chef in a three-star restaurant of devils, making a fine display of his talents. He continued this journey after being summoned to Tokyo as a Transient, leading the kitchen teams of multiple restaurants until being offered a job to work as a teacher for an online culinary course. This did not last, as Nisroch quickly grew bored of a life spent waiting on his students. No, he was a man seeking action—and so he did, buying a food truck and opening it for business wherever hungry diners were to be found. He forged his own extracurricular activities, journeying through other worlds, networking with other culinarians, and polishing his repertoire. This bore fruit, as he now has deep connections with Setagaya Agriculture and Forestry Academy’s crop research department, as well as the cooking clubs in just about every Tokyo school. In recent developments, he welcomed in an onmyoji agent seeking a second life as a disciple. For that reason, a certain guild master has become a regular wherever he stops the truck, and one of his best customers—muttering resentfully all the while. His current project is the completion of the great forbidden full course menu, though he leaves the dessert out of it. Nisroch sometimes finds himself strongly at odds with those who insist there are no taboos in food and that everything is tasty in its own way.

異世界放浪料理人。かつては天使たちの厨房と、食材として「禁断の果実」管理を任されていた。しかし、エデンの内部闘争へ従軍した後、かつての最高天使たちと同様、地の底へ。美食を追求する彼は異世界ゲヘナにて、悪魔の三ツ星料理長として才覚を発揮する。さらにその先を求め「転光生」となった後は、いくつかのレストランで料理長を務めた。やがて調理師の通信制専門教育コースの教師着任を願われ、そこで働くようになる。しかし、生徒を待つばかりの生活というのはすぐに飽きてしまった。自ら求められる場所へ赴かんとキッチンカーを購入し、営業を開始。異世界をドライブしながら、料理技術の研究や交流を行う独自の課外活動を始めた。農林学園の稲作研究グループや、各学園の料理部と繋がりがある。最近、陰陽寮のトップエージェントからのセカンドライフ希望者に弟子入りされた。その縁で、某ギルドマスターから恨まれながらも店のファンとして足繫く通われている。デザート以外のフルコースを含めた、禁断のメニュー完成を目指しているという。「飲み食いに禁忌など無く、何でも美味い」という者とは相容れない時もある。

Nisroch wields a kitchen Knife Sacred Artifact made to handle ingredients with strong cultural aversions, like the forbidden fruit of Eden or the underworld pomegranate of Olympus. The Knife enables the user to willingly avoid taboos cast upon the ingredients and use them in dishes of their choice. This Rule acts not only on individuals, but on entire cities and civilizations, thus bestowing upon him the title of a rampaging king. In truth, it should be viewed in contrast with the power of the Genociders, which targets individuals. When he was in charge of the angels’ kitchen in Eden, the Knife was merely a tool with the purpose of creating fantastic dishes. Only after Nisroch’s fall into Gehenna, where he began preparing ingredients adapted to that brutally barren world, did it take on a more sinister and unsettling appearance. This application of power and challenging of taboos brings out the beauty of food; meat grows tastier over scorching flames, and even the most poisonous vegetables can become delicacies if cooked right. Yet danger does not lie in food alone—Nisroch has established contracts with multiple factions to set up shop and do food truck business in a variety of dangerous, war-torn areas, turning the perimeter around his truck into a kind of DMZ. This is why his chef’s coat is adorned with a variety of sponsor logos, decorating his chest like army medals. His teaching methods are similarly militaristic and thorough, though the sight of him training his pupils is akin to observing a dojo. This gives him feelings of affinity for a certain dark giant fond of baking, though he keeps his distance for reasons previously mentioned, even though they are both masters of the culinary path.

文化的に忌まれる食材を扱うための、包丁型の「神器」。たとえばエデンの禁断の果実、あるいはオリュンポスの冥界のザクロなどが対象。使用者の意志によって食材の「禁則」を回避しながら調理を行う力を宿す。この「権能」は個人ではなく都市・文明を対象とし、故にその破壊者たる王の名を冠する。本来、ひとを対象とするジェノサイダーズのそれと対比されるべき代物。かつて天使たちの厨房を任されていたころは、ただ美食を生み出すための道具だった。異世界ゲヘナの過酷な環境に適応した食材をさばくうちに、姿が禍々しく変容していく。灼熱の炎で旨味を増す肉や、毒を持ちながらも調理次第で絶品となる野菜など。危険地域の複数勢力とキッチンカー出店契約を結んでおり、車の周囲はあたかもＤＭＺ。故に、コックコートには従軍勲章のように数々のスポンサーロゴがあしらわれている。彼の指導は極めてマッシブで、弟子たちを鍛え上げる姿は、もはや武闘家のよう。故に、スイーツづくりをたしなむ黒き巨人にそこはかとない親近感を抱く。だが前述の理由により、当人からは料理教師仲間ながらもやや警戒されているらしい。
