A Transient with a frightening visage, long horns sprouting from his jet black mane, and a Sacred Artifact in the form of large Claws. He attends the Tokyo Santa School, training day in and day out to become a full-fledged Dark Santa. Though he plays the role of the atrocious fiend to frighten children for work, when he drops the act, he returns to his timid and calm demeanor. Secretly distressed at the thought of remaining alone for the foreseeable future, he is easily moved to tears by any kindness directed toward him. He has a strong disdain for naughty kids who harm others for their own benefit.

使用巨大的钩爪神器，长有漆黑的体毛和长角，以有强烈震撼力的恐怖表情为豪的“转光生”。为了成为独当一面的黑色圣诞老人，在东京圣诞老人学校日复一日地努力锻炼。虽然在工作时，会演成超级可怕的大恶人，让坏孩子胆战心惊，但在放下演技时，会恢复成一个胆小善良的青年。为自己将来可能也会继续孤独下去而暗中感到担忧，也因此容易被他人展现的温情而产生感情。对于出于私欲而意图加害他人的“坏孩子”怀有厌恶感。

Hailing from a long line of attendants to saints, Krampus uses as his Sacred Artifacts a pair of Claws that have been passed down for generations. His mission is to punish and instill fear of himself into the hearts of naughty children. One swipe from his Claws will make any child repent their evil ways, swearing to be good so as to never meet him again. On nights with no moonlight, Krampus appears with the fading echo of a bell, making even the nicest of children quake with fear. Consequently, he feels constant anguish at being trapped in such a detested role.
聖人の従者を担ってきた一族の末裔である彼は、代々受け継がれてきた一対の大きな鉤爪の神器を武器として扱う。彼の使命は、祝福を受ける資格の無い「悪い子」にお仕置きを加え、自らへの恐怖心を植え付けること。彼に爪痕を付けられた者は総じて、自らの蛮行を反省し、二度と彼に会うことが無いような「良い子」になる事を誓う。月の無い晩に古びた鐘の音と共に現れる彼の姿には、「悪い子」ならずとも誰もが震え上がる。ゆえに彼は、嫌われ者であり続けなければならないという宿命に囚われ、苦悩し続けるのだった。

As part of the Santa School’s annual Wishlist Reconnaissance assignment, Krampus found himself dragged along to a Halloween event by a classmate; however, he felt uncomfortable about going, as he had never been at ease around large crowds. After hearing rumors (deliberately spread by the organizational committee) that it would be best to attend after dark, he ducked into a clothing rental shop on the way to the event in search of a costume fitting the theme. What he happened upon was the attire of Yama, whom a certain religion viewed as lord of Hell and judge of the sinful. Perhaps it was chance that guided his hand, or perhaps the similarities in their roles resonated with him: both are the objects of fear and animosity, both enforce adherence to a strict moral code, and both are pariahs among their peers. However, unbeknownst to Krampus, another religion ascribes to Yama quite a different side…
サンタスクールの年間の課題である「子どもが喜ぶものの調査」。その一環として、後輩の誘いでハロウィン・イベントへと連れ出されてきたものの、人混みが得意でないクランプスはただただ困惑するばかり。実行委員が吹聴する「夜が一番盛り上がる」という噂に合わせ、現地に向かう道すがらの貸し衣装屋で彼がとっさに手にしたのは「閻魔大王」の衣装だった。ある信仰において、地獄にて罪人を裁くとされる大王の衣装。それを意図せず選んでしまったのは、その「役割」が自分に負わされているものに通じるところがあった故の縁だろうか。「二度と遭いたくもない」と思われるほどの恐怖の権化として「ある定められた人道」を正すものとして彼が抱く、避けられる者としての孤独。だがその在り方は、また別の信仰、別の視点から見れば異なる側面を持つ。彼はまだ、それを知らない。
聖誕老人學校全年度的課題「調查小孩子喜歡的東西」。作為課題的一環，坎卜斯接受了後輩的邀請，一同出席萬聖節活動，然而不擅長接觸人群的坎卜斯只覺得困惑。為了配合籌備委員會不停宣揚的「晚上最熱鬧」的說法，在趕往活動會場的途中，經過服裝出租店的他，立刻反應出來的決定便是「閻魔大王」的服裝。該服裝出自某種信仰，是在地獄為罪人判刑的大王形象。他不抱任何意圖卻選了這套服裝，或許是從那份「職責」感受到了與自己所背負的責任有些許共通點吧。身為讓人「絕不想再遇到」的恐怖之化身、作為讓人走向「受規範之人道」的導正者，他心中懷抱著被眾人躲避的孤獨。雖然目前他還不明白，但這樣的生存方式，在別的信仰，或從別的視角看來，將呈現出不同的一面。
圣诞老人学校的全年课题是“调查能讨孩子们欢心的东西”。作为调查的一环，克朗普斯接受了晚辈的邀请，被带去参加万圣节活动。然而，他并不习惯人多的地方，所以感到不知所措。因为执行委员到处宣称“夜晚的气氛才是最热烈的”，克朗普斯为了配合这点，在去往会场的路上找了一间戏服租赁店，随手找了一身“阎魔王”的服装。那是某种信仰里，在地狱制裁罪人的大王。他无意间挑选了这身衣服或许是因为，那人的“天职”与自己所背负的东西之间有着相同点吧。他身为恐怖的化身，纠正人们行走“所谓的人间正道”，甚至令人恐惧到“此生不想与他再次见面”。人们的避之不及让他感到孤独。然而他的生存方式，从别的信仰和角度来看，又拥有着别样的定义。但这一点，他还未曾知晓。
